North Korea government bans people for laughing for ten days: Know the reason here
North Korea is infamous for its cruel government rule, bad human rights situation and atrocities the citizens face. The unreasonable restrictions and bans make the lives of people living in the country incredibly difficult.
In another such horrible ban, they have now been prohibited to laugh for a period of 10 days.
If you think this is ridiculous, wait till you hear the reason for this ban.
It is imposed to observe the death anniversary of the former Korean leader Kim Jong-il, the father of current president Kim Jong Un.
This year will mark the 10th death anniversary of Kim Jong-il on 17th December and thus, citizens are required to enter the mourning period for 10 days.
Every year, the country observes the morning period during which people are not allowed to drink alcohol, go shopping (even for groceries) or enjoy any leisure activities.
In addition to these restrictions, this year, people will not be allowed to even laugh, or they would face serious consequences.
“In the past, many people who were caught drinking or being intoxicated during the mourning period were arrested and treated as ideological criminals,” the unnamed citizen said adding, “They were taken away and never seen again,” an unnamed resident told a leading daily.
They are not even allowed to carry funeral rites or celebrate birthdays during this period.
“Even if your family member dies during the mourning period, you are not allowed to cry out loud and the body must be taken out after it’s over. People cannot even celebrate their own birthdays if they fall within the mourning period,” he added.
People on social media are feeling sorry for those living in North Korea and saying it’s highly unfair. Some are laughing at the rule saying it’s the most ridiculous they have come across. And, they are not wrong.

What monkey fled with a bag containing evidence in it: Read full story
The court, generally, considers a person who commit a crime and the one who destroys the evidence, as criminals in the eyes of law. But what if an animal destroys the evidence of a crime committed by a human.
In a peculiar incident in Rajasthan, a monkey fled away with the evidence collected by the police in a murder case. The stolen evidence included the murder weapon (a blood-stained knife).
The incident came to light when the police appeared before the court and they had to provide the evidence in the hearing.
The hearing was about the crime which took place in September 2016, in which a person named Shashikant Sharma died at a primary health center under Chandwaji police station. After the body was found, the deceased’s relatives blocked the Jaipur-Delhi highway, demanding an inquiry into the matter.
Following the investigation, the police had arrested Rahul Kandera and Mohanlal Kandera, residents of Chandwaji in relation to the murder. But, when the time came to produce the evidence related to the case, it was found that the police had no evidence with them because a monkey had stolen it from them.
In the court, the police said that the knife, which was the primary evidence, was also taken by the monkey. The cops informed that the evidence of the case was kept in a bag, which was being taken to the court.
The evidence bag contained the knife and 15 other important evidences. However, due to the lack of space in the malkhana, a bag full of evidence was kept under a tree, which led to the incident.
