Lucknow: In a shocking revelation, it has come to light that the class 12th student, who was found dead near the chief minister’s residence on February 16, was raped by 21 men before and after she died.

The DNA report says that the girl died during rape but the accused continue to defile her body.

“The DNA profile of 21 different persons has been found on the body of the victim which means she was raped by 21 different men. The girl was raped even after her death as some DNA tests reveal”, said a senior police official.

The police officials are now wary of making the report public because it would lead to outrage and damage the image of the state government.

The girl’s body was found in thickets near the chief minister’s residence on February 16, five days after the girl went missing while going to school on February 10.

The police later arrested two rickshaw pullers and two caddies of the Golf Club who admitted that they had seen the girl’s body hanging from a tree. They said that they had brought down the body and had sex with the dead girl for two days after which the body began to decompose.

All four were arrested and sent to jail while the girl’s mobile was recovered from the village of one of the rickshaw pullers. The girl’s bicycle and school bag have not be recovered till date.

The post mortem report of the girl revealed that she had died due to excessive bleeding even though there was no trace of blood at the spot from where her body was found.

The Lucknow police are now starting fresh investigations into the case.

“We will keep the DNA report under wraps until we make some headway into the investigations”, said a member of the investigating team.

The court, generally, considers a person who commit a crime and the one who destroys the evidence, as criminals in the eyes of law. But what if an animal destroys the evidence of a crime committed by a human.

In a peculiar incident in Rajasthan, a monkey fled away with the evidence collected by the police in a murder case. The stolen evidence included the murder weapon (a blood-stained knife).

The incident came to light when the police appeared before the court and they had to provide the evidence in the hearing.

The hearing was about the crime which took place in September 2016, in which a person named Shashikant Sharma died at a primary health center under Chandwaji police station. After the body was found, the deceased’s relatives blocked the Jaipur-Delhi highway, demanding an inquiry into the matter.

Following the investigation, the police had arrested Rahul Kandera and Mohanlal Kandera, residents of Chandwaji in relation to the murder. But, when the time came to produce the evidence related to the case, it was found that the police had no evidence with them because a monkey had stolen it from them.

In the court, the police said that the knife, which was the primary evidence, was also taken by the monkey. The cops informed that the evidence of the case was kept in a bag, which was being taken to the court.

The evidence bag contained the knife and 15 other important evidences. However, due to the lack of space in the malkhana, a bag full of evidence was kept under a tree, which led to the incident.
